On My Career and Life : A Journey

 Hello and Hi!

My name is Caitlyn-Rae Arendse, and I am a recent graduate of Albion College in Michigan!


                                          


I am currently a freelancer, looking for a job in either journalism or health care policy writing!

Currently, while I am not at work, I fill my time with travel, fashion and of course WRITING! 

On this blog, I plan to share my work, life and fashionable endeavors, all while continuing on this crazy journey to figure out what my lifestyle will look like by the time, I am 30 years old. It is really important to me that I can document my life and habits in order to cultivate a truly blossoming career!

With that being said, here goes my first post: on my career, options and day to day life, with me, Caitlyn-Rae!

So currently I am working free-lance with CNN News, pursuing my writing career while also handling health care concerns and Medicaid lifestyle options with CVS Aetna Company. I hope to use my writing and healthcare experience to either write columns or policy in either sector. I have had a strong background in politically charged topics since high school in terms of journalism and I consider myself to be well rounded! I am so very excited to begin travel and other excursions with my career and this fabulous blog, that might turn into a Youtube Channel as well, with time! 

In addition to my career, I am also thinking of going back to graduate school for both my masters and PhD in Communications, for even more career opportunities at The Ohio State University! I am so excited because my younger brother is a current attendee of their undergraduate school, which would allow me to get closer to him as well!

Anyway, I thank you for listening to my lifestyle and career goals today! It was a treat!

Today was a beautiful day: filled with adventure and intrigue as I decided to head to my local library and work on my personal statements for graduate school. Totally Accepted! - Getting Accepted to my Masters Program at Ohio State!

 Hi and Good Sunday to my blog people! I am so happy because just earlier last week, I was accepted as a full-time student to Ohio State University for their masters in the study of Law program!  I was excited especially because the curriculum is focused on learning about legal processes and writing in them. Being a student again is going to be thrilling! I know I will enjoy the books, research and long hours in the library like I did when I was in undergraduate.  I believe the most important part about embarking on this new journey is remembering that I have to keep myself to the highest standards, and hold myself accountable for all assignments that I am given. I personally am looking forward to the externships that are available at the college and what resources are available on campus. When I talked with the Dean, Tra Pham, she mentioned that it is crucial that I make friends within the program. I believe this is because of the course difficulty and future career path...
